Coleen Rooney has spoken out just days after her husband, Wayne Rooney, released a statement regarding a video of a woman seemingly seen entering his luxury Plymouth apartment.
Late last year, former Plymouth Argyle manager Wayne, 39, was forced to deny he let a ‘mystery woman’ into his flat after a clip went viral on social media.
Taking to Instagram to say his piece, the ex-Manchester United striker typed: “I am aware of a video circulating online.

“The video shows a man and woman looking around my apartment. The couple kindly gave me a lift home and were in there at the same time as my son who was visiting."
The father-of-four added that the footage had been collected ‘last summer’, expressing how ‘annoying’ it was that the video had been edited to ‘make it appear as though a woman entered the apartment on her own’.
More than a week later, the Liverpool native’s wife Coleen, 38, has spoken out. However, she failed to mention the incident in a new interview with The Mirror.

Instead, Coleen, who is fresh from placing second on I’m A Celeb defiantly stated that she and Wayne’s marriage has ‘got nothing to do with anyone else’.
“Life throws different things at you,” she told the publication.
“My marriage has been a massive thing in the press, and I got through that. People are so opinionated, but I’ve always thought that it’s my life, so let me get on with it – it’s got nothing to do with anyone else."

Coleen - who shares sons Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, and Cass, six, with the England legend - went on to say that people seem to ‘understand’ her life a little better after her I’m A Celeb appearance.
“I know I’ve always been a tough person, I’m not a princess – I’ve always tackled things and got on with it,” she admitted. “I wouldn’t say I could tackle the world now though.
“We [Wayne and I] have helped each other – we’ve gone through everything together.
“He’s probably struggled more than me – people have hated on him, and it’s tough because he’s out there every week. He told me while I was in the jungle that he was getting chants about me all the time.”

Appearing on The Overlap’s Stick to Football podcast, Coleen said she initially believed she’d been ‘dead boring’ on the ITV programme, admitting she would ‘never do [it] again’.
“But I’m glad that I did do it,” she confessed. “I’ve met people [in the jungle] that I’ll keep in contact with – the group chat is going off all the time.”
The Rooneys started dating when they were just 16 years old, having met at the age of 12 in Coxtheth, Liverpool.

The couple tied the knot in June 2008 with a destination wedding in Portofino, Italy.
Those reported among the guests included Wayne’s then-team-mates Michael Carrick, Wes Brown and John O’Shea. Meanwhile, Westlife and Stereophonics performed at the bash.
Previously, Coleen has admitted that her eldest son Kai had asked his famous father to stop attending his football matches.
“Kai told Wayne to stop coming to football games, when he played grassroots [football] tournaments and stuff because he used to get swarmed and he couldn’t even watch the game,” she said during her stint in the Aussie jungle.
“How do you say to all of these kids, ‘Go away, I’m watching my son?’ Adults, it’s different, you could speak to them. So he [Kai] just said, ‘Oh, Dad, there’s no point you coming because you don’t even watch me play anyway', which is sad but it can’t be helped.
“At the same time the fans help you along the way and get you where you are.”
