A body language expert has revealed the one 'secret' David Beckham hid during his rare royal visit.
Last night (3 December), David and wife Victoria were invited to a lavish state banquet at Buckingham Palace after the Prince and Princess of Wales, as well as King Charles, welcomed the Emir of Qatar, Amir Sheikh Tamim and his wife, Sheikha Jawaher, to the UK as part of their state visit.
The celebrity couple were invited to attend the dinner due to their Qatari connections, with the former England football captain being an ambassador for the Qatar World Cup back in 2022.

While David has visited the Palace several times over the years, their attendance last night marks the first time he attended a state banquet.
Over a decade ago back in 2003, he received an OBE for services to football from the late Queen Elizabeth, and there have since been calls for Beckham to receive a knighthood - though it's an honour he is yet to receive.
However, according to one expert, he's really keen on getting one.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, body language expert Darren Stanton told Tyla that the footballing legend was 'the man of the moment' last night.
"If you look at his posture and his positioning, he is the man of the moment. It’s almost like a football team, he is front and centre," he told Tyla.
"The facial expression, one of complete elation. We don’t often see him display this sort of emotion, it’s a green flag for something very positive ahead."

Apparently, Becks also reckons a potential knighthood is 'on the cards'.
The expert explained: "David Beckham is wearing his OBE, traditionally you always wear existing medals when you meet the royals, it’s protocol. However, he is flashing such an expression of what we call duping delight, the feeling when someone knows something everyone else doesn't know.
"It’s almost like an internal secret you can’t help but smile about, I think he believes a knighthood is on the cards, he’s very confident here."
And as for Posh Spice?

Well, Darren says she appeared 'quite confident' - something which seems worlds apart from her 'very confident' hubby.
Analysing the encounter, Darren shared: "David is walking in front of Victoria, taking a slight lead. Victoria is held back a bit, they're holding hands, which is a clear gesture of support towards each other.
"However, Victoria appears quite nervous despite presenting herself in a dutiful way. This is a big event for them both as she turns out to support her husband.

"David has great eye contact and is looking straight forward as he walks, he’s very self-assured and confident, whereas Victoria is expressing very different emotions - she isn’t as animated as David, instead choosing to maintain a fixed composure to help steady her nerves internally."
