Dylan Effron's hot take about showering has got fans feeling weird about the star's hygiene habits.
If there's one thing that will wake you up in the morning when all you want to do is crawl back into bed, it's a refreshing shower.
First and foremost, it's hygienic, but it's also time to be with your thoughts without any outside distractions or noise.

Not many would admit to not showering at least once a day, but one celebrity's hot take about cleanliness has got fans feeling a bit weird.
The Traitors star, who also happens to be Zac Effron's brother, shared an interesting unpopular opinion about showering, during a rapid fire round of questions.
He starred on the Are You Okay? show, when he was asked about something that he finds 'overrated'.

But instead of naming a popular restaurant or a loved TV show, Effron decided to go with showering.
The 33-year-old admitted: "I think people shower too much."
The interview quickly responded, claiming to absolutely 'hate' his answer.
To which he said: "We take way too many showers.

"I go in the pool a lot, like, there’s chlorine. It’s killing everything."
The host added that he's probably not 'scrubbing [his] body' in the pool, he went a step further with the hygiene hot take - claiming that people use soap too often.
He added: "We don’t need to soap our bodies every time we’re in the shower, either.
"That’s way too much!"

In a less controversial claim, he also said that he didn't like croissants, which to be honest, he should have just led with.
Unfortunately for him, people on social media didn't exactly agree with his notion, and didn't hesitate to share their thoughts.
One said: "I want to go back to a time, I didn’t hear this take on too many showers."

After noting how he tries to see every sunset, another wrote: "His take on sunsets is absolutely beautiful… but he still lost me at the chlorine bit."
A third added: "He’s definitely not okay with that take on showers…"
But how often should we really be showering?
Despite fans coming for Effron, according to Healthline, the star could actually have a point.
"A shower every day could be bad for your skin," they wrote.
However, the recommended frequency of showering varies completely by personal needs and skin types.
