Ashley Tisdale fans had a shock after the actress shared a video on her TikTok page where she made a confession about her appearance.
The Disney star first appeared on our TV screens back in 2005 as Maddie Fitzpatrick in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
The sitcom focused on identical twins (Cole and Dylan Sprouse) who started living at the Tipton Hotel when their single mum got a job as a lounge singer.

Ashley also played the iconic Sharpay Evans in High School Musical, alongside the likes of Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, before going on to star in a number of films including Scary Movie 5 and Picture This.
Although Ashley has been on our screens for a good while, people were still shocked when she shared her age in a recent TikTok video.
Posting a clip of herself with an age filter to make her appear older, Ashley explained that she initially thought she'd look a lot older.

"How I thought I'd look at 40 vs what I actually look like," she said.
At the end of the clip, the age filter is removed and Ashley's youthful looks are revealed.
In the caption, she added: "Almost 40 and still feeling 25."
And people cannot believe that Ashley is 40, with many assuming the star was much younger.

While another said: "Wait you can't be that old???"
And a third added: "I refuse to believe Sharpay Evans is 40. Absolute LIES."
And a fourth said: "How are you 40???? where has my childhood gone???"
Others urged Ashley to 'drop her skincare routine', with another adding: "No aging at all, that’s very Sharpay of you."

And a second said: "Drop that skin routine because that’s GOALS."
Some fans even said that Ashley hadn't changed at all, and still looks exactly the same as her HSM days.
"You could go and do a highschool musical remake that is all about Sharpay and everyone would think it was made in 2006," said another fan.
