Elon Musk's first wife, Justine Wilson, has revealed Musk would 'often' make a particular remark to her during their marriage.
Musk, 53, has been married three times, but he tied the knot to his first wife - Canadian author Wilson, 52 - in 2000, and the pair were married for eight years before they split in 2008.
Together, they share 20-year-old twins Griffin and Vivian through IVF in 2004, as well as triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, 19, in 2006, also through IVF.

In 2002, the pair welcomed their first baby, Nevada Alexander; however, at just 10 weeks old, he passed away from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
Speaking about their marriage two years after they split, Wilson penned an article for Marie Claire, titled 'I Was a Starter Wife': Inside America's Messiest Divorce, in which she delved into her relationship with the tech billionaire.
Wilson spoke about the 'warning signs' that things were not working out, explaining: "As we danced at our wedding reception, Elon told me, 'I am the alpha in this relationship.'

"I shrugged it off, just as I would later shrug off signing the postnuptial agreement, but as time went on, I learned that he was serious.

"... Elon's judgment overruled mine, and he was constantly remarking on the ways he found me lacking. 'I am your wife,' I told him repeatedly, 'not your employee.'
"'If you were my employee,' he said just as often, 'I would fire you'."

It was following a car accident that Wilson said she had a realisation about their marriage, explaining that she 'sucked' at being a 'trophy wife'.
"My first thought wasn't, Thank God nobody's hurt. It was, My husband is going to kill me. And in my mind's eye, I could suddenly see myself: a woman who'd gotten very thin, and very blonde, stumbling out of a very expensive car with the front-left wheel smashed in," she said.
"I barely recognized myself. I had turned into a trophy wife — and I sucked at it. I wasn't detail-oriented enough to maintain a perfect house or be a perfect hostess. I could no longer hide my boredom when the men talked and the women smiled and listened.

"I wasn't interested in Botox or makeup or reducing the appearance of the scars from my C-sections. And no matter how many highlights I got, Elon pushed me to be blonder. 'Go platinum,' he kept saying, and I kept refusing."
It's reported that Musk and Wilson live separate lives and rarely interact these days.
Speaking to Teen Vogue, Vivian - who is estranged from Musk - said: "I don't keep up with that side of the family because... I don't.
"My mom doesn't really either. She's divorced, werk.

"So yeah. I don't really give a f**k what they do. This is not my problem, okay?"
