The whole world was glued to their screens watching the eagerly-anticipated Euro 2024 final on Sunday (14 July).
However, for a lucky few, some were able to see the game play out in real-time at the Olympiastadion in Berlin - including Prince William and his eldest son, George.
But, as we all know, the Three Lions unfortunately didn't emerge as winners, as Spain scored a second goal in the final four minutes, and winning the game 2-1.

A lip-reader has already revealed the bizarre 'insult' the Prince of Wales muttered during the tense Euros final moment, but what on earth did 10-year-old George say when Mikel Oyarzabal secured the winning goal for Spain in the 86th minute?
Well, the action kicked off a whole 39 minutes before as Nico Williams first put Spain ahead.
Then, England’s Cole Palmer tied the score in the 73rd minute, which briefly lifted our hopes.

But, sadly, our dreams were thwarted when Spain cinched the game late on, leaving many of us with our head in our hands - William and George included.
During that moment, George cupped his hands over his face and appeared to shout: "Oh my gosh!"
Footage from the event has since surfaced on social media with many fans of the Royals rushing in to share their reactions.

One Instagram user penned: "Sorry we all felt the same. It's very sad."
"Like father like son," quipped a second.
A third chimed in: "Prince George copying his dad's moves."
William and Kate Middleton took to X following England's defeat to share a statement on the matter.

They wrote: "This time it just wasn’t meant to be. We’re all still so proud of you. Onwards @England. W."
In a follow-up tweet, the pair added: "England, your teamwork, grit and determination were an inspiration to all of us, young and old.
"Congratulations to Spain. W & C."
Accompanying the message, the pair shared a photo of Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, wearing football shirts with their names printed on the back.

Yesterday's loss is England’s second in a row in the European Championship final, with Italy defeating them in the last tournament.
The Three Lions have not won a major men’s trophy since the 1966 World Cup.
England's women's team - the Lionesses - however came out on top at their last Euros tournament.
Captain Harry Kane recently came under fire for his comments after drawing with Slovenia.
He said: "The bottom line is we haven't won anything as a nation for a long, long time and a lot of these players were part of that as well and they know how tough it is, so it is not digging anyone out."
Some accused Kane of 'sexism' with many pointing to the fact that the Lionesses actually won the last Euros and came second in the World Cup.
