Glen Powell's mum, Cyndy Powell, has spoken out on *those* Sydney Sweeney rumours after fans began speculating this week.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Sweeney - and long-term partner and fiancé Jonathan Davino - had parted ways after seven years together.
The White Lotus star, 27, and film producer Davino, 41, first started dating back in 2018.

According to reports, the pair have split and are no longer living together, with an insider claiming to PEOPLE that their relationship has ended.
Following the news, rumours have been swirling about Sweeney and her good friend Powell, with the actor's mum even speaking out on the topic.
Shutting down the romance rumours entirely, Cyndy told the Daily Mail: "They're definitely not together. [There is] nothing going on behind closed doors."

The rumours began circulating when Sweeney attended Powell's sister's wedding last week.
However, Cyndy said this was because the pair are simply 'really close friends', adding that they hadn't seen her 'in a long time'.
“We love Sydney. We’ve considered her just a really, really good friend,” she said. “We all were together so much, and we haven’t seen her in a long time. She’s really a friend and we all enjoy her."
Despite the continuous rumours about their relationship, Sweeney and Powell have always maintained that they are just mates.

The pair starred together in 2023 rom-com Anyone but You, and in 2023, when asked about potential romance rumours between the two co-stars, Powell told Today: "No, but we do love each other. And, honestly, this is one of the most spectacular humans I've ever met. She's really great."
Prior to ending their engagement, Sweeney, who shot to stardom for her role as Cassie Howard in Euphoria, had spoken about her love life, explaining people are always so interested in who she's dating and 'what that's like'.
"Everyone is always so curious about who I’m with and what’s that like, but I think it’s important to have something for me," she told Glamour in 2023.

In another interview with Glamour in 2024, she added: "We’re in it together. And we want to see each other succeed.
“I’m a very successful, independent woman who’s worked really hard.
“I’ve accomplished and bought everything myself, and I provide for myself and my family.

“You can be in a healthy relationship with someone and also be very successful without needing the man."
