Selena Gomez fans horrified after spotting Benny Blanco's habit at Golden Globes

Selena Gomez fans have been left seriously horrified after spotting a slightly controversial habit of Benny Blanco's at the Golden Globe Awards 2025.

Gomez was nominated for not one but two awards tonight; once for her work in both Only Murders in the Building, and another for Emilia Pérez.

Her and new fiancé, Blanco, attended the ceremony together and could be seen cosied up at a table together.

Now the soon-to-be husband and wife already endured host Nikki Glaser's savage joke but it's clear that wasn't all the couple would have to deal with for the evening.

Gomez and Blanco could be seen up on the big screen as comedian Glaser noted Gomez's nominations.

"Selena Gomez is here," she began. "A double nominee tonight for Emilia Perez and Only Murders [In The Building], and she's here tonight with her new fiancé Benny Blanco.

"And Benny Blanco is here because of the genie that granted that wish. Man, lucky guy."

The pair clearly took the joke well, with Gomez miming that she was in the lucky one of the two, while music producer Blanco simply laughed and kissed her on the shoulder.

Since then, eagle-eyed viewers at home were quick to notice one of Blanco's habits - chewing gum with an open mouth - with many rushing to social media to share their disgust.

One X user penned: "#breakingnews Benny Blanco chewing gum with an open mouth at the Golden Globes."

"Seeing Benny Blanco's face chewing that gum with his mouth wide open makes me want to punch a hole in my wall," declared a second.

A third demanded: "@selenagomez tell Benny Blanco to stop chewing gum with his mouth open yuck!!"

"Benny Blanco nasty [...] chewing gum with an open mouth at the Golden Globes," revealed another.

And a final X user echoed: "Benny Blanco chewing gum with his mouth open omg I feel SICK."
