Don Lemon is not playing when it comes to Ye and his social media rants

Don Lemon and Kanye West have been feuding on social media after the rapper appeared to swerve the journalist on the Grammy Awards red carpet.

West and his wife Bianca Censori’s arrival at the prestigious music event hit the headlines after she took off her black fur coat to reveal a completely see-through dress without any underwear.

Because of how shocking her outfit was, many speculated that the pair must have faced repercussions for that level of nudity.

Of course, when people get an idea in their head, they begin to talk to others and speculate.

However, this speculation led to rumours, which then swirled online and alleged the couple had been 'kicked out' and not invited to the Grammys in the first place.

In an explosive post, West called out former CNN journalist Lemon for allegedly starting the rumour about him and his wife.

Alongside a pic of the reporter, he wrote on his Instagram page: “This the goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies 3 decades of innovating music and they always K***S like this.”

The post has now been deleted.

Lemon was quick to put the record straight, claiming he did not start any rumour about West being 'not invited' and 'kicked out'.

Responding with an Instagram video, Lemon scathed: “First of all, Kanye, Yee, Ye, whatever your name is - I did not start a rumour about you being kicked out of the Grammys. I actually corrected it. I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere. First of all, get your s**t straight.”

Laughing, he continued: “You, of all people, calling me a c***? That Make America Great Again hat must be too tight on your head.”

The trouble between the pair appeared to begin on the red carpet before Censori’s outfit was revealed as Lemon tried to approach them for an interview.

He began by asking West about ‘the number one artist you want to put on right now?’

The rapper then replied by saying ‘give me a second, I’m focused,’ before immediately walking away.

Of course, Lemon laughed it off and posted it to his account, but little did he know what drama he would be pulled into immediately afterwards.
