Gypsy Rose Blanchard has announced her separation from her husband just months after serving her prison sentence.
The now 32-year-old woman was released from Missouri's Chillicothe Correctional Center last year (28 December) after serving seven years behind bars for her role in the murder of her own mother.
She is now walking free after being granted parole in September of last year, after serving seven years of her ten-year-long sentence.
It was the horrific tale of torture, alleged abduction and first-degree murder that shook the world back in 2015, when a then 24-year-old Gypsy was sent down for her part in the brutal stabbing of her 48-year-old mum, Dee Dee Blanchard.

She had conspired with her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, who she met online after suffering for years at the hands of her mother, who went on to force her into getting unnecessary medical procedures and convinced everyone around them that she was severely sick.
However, Gypsy Rose did previously admit to regretting her mother’s death ahead of her release, telling PEOPLE: "I was desperate to get out of that situation."
She revealed: "If I had another chance to redo everything, I don't know if I would go back to when I was a child and tell my aunts and uncles that I'm not sick and mommy makes me sick or, if I would travel back to just the point of that conversation with Nick and tell him, 'You know what, I'm going to go tell the police everything.' I kind of struggle with that."

Following her release, Gypsy seemed super loved up with her husband Ryan, who she met after he sent her a letter during the coronavirus pandemic.
The pair were later married in a small ceremony in prison on 21 July 2021 at the Chillicothe Correctional Center.
However, it seems they've since parted ways as, in a post on her private social media page as seen by PEOPLE magazine, she revealed they were 'going through a separation'.
She shared: "People have been asking what is going on in my life.

"Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou.
"I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am."
