Hugh Jackman’s ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness once revealed why sleeping with him was like 'always having affairs'.
The pair were married for 27 years before they split in 2023, saying in a joint statement how their family 'has been and always will be' their 'highest priority'.
"We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage," they said.

The former couple, who first met in 1995 on Australian TV series Corelli, continued: "We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth."
The statement added: "We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness.
"We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives."

While their relationship ultimately came to an end, a marriage spanning almost three decades is, of course, something to be celebrated.
And it sounds like they had a novel way to keep things interesting.
Back in 2013, Deborra joked how it always felt like she was 'having affairs' - something that was all down to Hugh’s line of work.
Speaking to Town & Country Magazine, she was asked if she liked Hugh rocking a beard, a look he’s sported in many of his films.

She replied: "I do. But I like him clean-shaven."
Deborra added: "But I like him all ways: chubby, muscley, skinny. I'm always having affairs... Don't make that headline!"
So while she preferred him fresh-faced, she was able to appreciate Hugh however he looked, joking that it almost made it seem like she was with another fella each time.

Since Hugh and Deborra's split, The Greatest Showman actor has seemingly confirmed his new romance with Broadway star, Sutton Foster, following mass speculation the pair were an item.
They could be seen enjoying an evening together in Santa Monica, California, on Monday (6 January) holding hands and smiling in the street.
Sutton and Hugh co-starred in the 2022 revival of The Music Man. Last year, Sutton opened up to People what it was like working alongside Jackman, saying: "He's one of the greatest guys ever, an incredible costar."
Additionally, during a joint appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers to promote The Music Man in May 2022, she added: "The show is so joyful, and I’m having the time of my life playing opposite this guy."

The admiration was clearly mutual, with Hugh gushing: "This is a six-time Tony nominee, two-time winner. Like, I saw her do Thoroughly Modern Millie when you were like four years old. But I’ve watched everything she's done. It’s amazing."
