As the old rule goes, you’re supposed to spend three months’ salary on an engagement ring for your loved one.
But what happens if you’re a multi-millionaire boxer and social media star? Surely by that point, anything goes.
It seems money was no object when Jake Paul, 28, recently popped the question to partner Jutta Leerdam, with photos showing a pretty hefty rock on her finger.

The pair met on Instagram after Paul slid into the DMs of the Dutch professional speed skater, who just so happens to have several gold medals under her belt.
The 25-year-old - who picked up silver at the 2022 Winter Olympics - confirmed her relationship Paul back in April 2023, and has since featured regularly on his social media pages.
And now the pair are due to tie the knot, after Paul dropped down on one knee in Puerto Rico, where he owns a mansion.

Paul’s brother Logan and his fiancée Nina Agdal threw the pair a lavish engagement party, with further snaps showing the gigantic diamond ring on Leerdam’s finger – one that’s thought to be worth a pretty penny or two.
According to talkSport, it’s believed Paul spent a whopping $1 million on the ring, with the outlet citing ‘jewellery experts’ who examined the piece.
They believe it features ‘ten-carat natural diamonds’, which ‘take the ring’s value to seven figures’.
The pair announced the news on Instagram, with Jake writing: "We’re engaged we can’t wait to spend forever together."

A follow-up post described the moment as the ‘most magical day’ of their lives, saying she felt ‘so grateful’ for all the love.
Leerdam also shared her own post on the happy occasion, saying in a caption: “Never been so surprised…”

She confirmed that Paul had surprised her by flying her parents in for the milestone, adding: “Last year I was so scared my mom wouldn’t be able to be here for these next steps in my life, so I’m just so grateful to celebrate this with them too. So grateful... Core memory.”

And it's only getting more exciting for the couple, who can also add reality TV to their CV after today's release of Paul American on Max.
The show, which focuses on the Paul family, promises to follow everything from Logan's WWE career to Jake's bout against Mike Tyson, while we will also see plenty from their respective partners - and even their parents, Greg and Pam.
