Jenna Ortega had a very straightforward response to Johnny Depp dating rumours.
Ortega, 21, has been looking back on some of the wildest rumours she's heard about herself during her time in the public eye.
One of them came about last year, when speculation mounted that Ortega and Depp were romantically linked, after rumours emerged that Depp, 61, would be making an appearance in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

At the time, Ortega took to social media to shut down the rumours, calling them 'ridiculous'.
Writing on Instagram Stories, she said: “This is so ridiculous I can’t even laugh I have never met or worked with Johnny Depp in my life.
"Please stop spreading lies and leave us alone.”

Now, months on from the speculation and the rumour has cropped up once again.
Discussing some of the most bizarre fake stories she's heard about herself, Ortega told BuzzFeed Celeb: "Probably that I was in a serious relationship with Johnny Depp and I wanted everybody to leave us alone. It's so insane to me. I never spoke on that, I never said anything like that.
"I thought that that was pretty hilarious. I was on set with Richard E. Grant and he came up to me and he said, 'Oh, so you and Johnny' and I laughed because I don't know that person."
Meanwhile, Depp's representative also issued a statement at the time, explaining to NME: "Mr. Depp has no personal or professional relationship with Ms. Ortega whatsoever.

"He has never met her or spoken to her. He is not involved in any project with her, nor does he intend to be.
"He is appalled by these baseless and malicious rumours that are intended to harm his reputation and career."
Ortega is pretty open about the impact of social media, and recently opened up about a terrifying experience she had online, when she was just a child.

Explaining to The New York Times how she 'hated' artificial intelligence (AI), the Wednesday actress revealed that she was subject to AI generated pornographic images of herself as a child.
She explained: "Did I like being 14 and making a Twitter account because I was supposed to and seeing dirty edited content of me as a child? No.
"It’s terrifying. It’s corrupt. It’s wrong."
She also recalled the first direct message she was sent being an unsolicited picture of a male genitals.

"And that was just the beginning of what was to come," she said.
"I used to have that Twitter account and I was told that, 'Oh, you got to do it, you got to build your image.'"
The situation became so severe, that Ortega ended up deleting her account altogether.
