Jonnie Irwin has revealed he’s been ‘pretty unwell’ recently, but has been determined to spend quality time with his family.
The TV presenter was given six months to live back in 2020 after being diagnosed with terminal cancer, but didn’t go public with his news until November 2022.
Irwin told Hello magazine at the time: "I don't know how long I have left, but I try to stay positive, and my attitude is that I'm living with cancer, not dying from it.

"But now I want to make plans. I want to make memories and capture these moments with my family because the reality is, my boys are going to grow up not knowing their dad and that breaks my heart."
The 49-year-old continues to defy the odds, making sure he spends whatever final moments he has enjoying life with wife Jessica Holmes and their kids.
Irwin regularly shares what he’s up to with fans on Instagram, whether it’s his ‘last ever ride’ to nursery with his son, walks in the fresh air or family meals out.

On Friday (8 September), the A Place in the Sun star posted a video of him in the car on the way to Ripon in North Yorkshire with brother-in-law Freddie, hoping to scout out some bargains with some 'interiors/salvage hunting' at Ripley Castle.
"I’ve escaped Newcastle, not been feeling too great these past couple of days but my brother-in-law Freddie is taking us to an architectural salvage fair at Ripon down in North Yorkshire,” he said.
“So I’ll be posting some pictures of things that we like."
In another update posted yesterday (11 September), Irwin reiterated that his health had taken a dip, but that said he’d had a great time with his kids watching monster trucks.

He wrote: "Been pretty unwell this past week but felt better this morning so headed off to watch some Monster trucks. Kids loved it, got soaked in the rain, quick change when we got home to go again at a Christening party. Full on Sunday."
Like many other parents last week, Irwin waved off his eldest child Rex as he set off to school for his first day.
Posting a snap of his son posing in the garden in his school uniform, the gushing dad wrote: “First day of school. I’m so proud of him I could burst.”
