We all love a good party, but Katie Price has been slammed by fans who have accused her of ‘scrouging freebies’ for her daughter’s birthday bash.
The former glamour model took to social media and revealed that she’d been ‘gifted’ all the party pieces ahead of daughter Bunny’s big day.
It’s not surprising she’s come under fire as fans also lashed out at Catherine Tyldesley over ‘cake gate’.

For those who haven’t grabbed a slice of the action, the Coronation Street actor was heavily criticised after a PR company asked for 100 free cupcakes on her behalf.
Although the soap star insists she knew nothing about the incident, it’s raised a lot of questions about whether celebs should accept freebies.
However, Price didn’t have such concerns as she showed off her living room which had been transformed into a mermaid party for her nine-year-old.

In fact, the mum-of-five proudly showed off the sparkling cushions, colourful balloons and little pamper tents on Instagram.
There were even under-the-sea-themed snacks, with a huge birthday cake complete with shells, starfish and mermaid tails.
Sharing the video with her 2.7 million followers, Price gushed in the caption about the total transformation.
“Bunny’s reaction at the end, we transformed my living room into a mermaid-themed party in just ONE HOUR for Bunny’s 9th Birthday today,” she excitedly wrote.

Adding the ‘gifted’ tag on her video, she then shared the details of the various vendors to thank them for the kind gesture.
Not everyone was so impressed though, with many fans criticising her for accepting so many freebies.
In the comments, many of her followers hit out at the reality TV star.

One even wrote: “It's not actually Katie that deserves the credit for this. She's done bugger all apart from scrounge a freeby. She sits back and takes all the glory."
Meanwhile, a second said: "Wow all that Grifting is hard work eh Katie."
After the model shared the video on TikTok, however, other fans leapt to her defence.
“Katie would never and could never be slated for being a bad mum ever!! So lush what you did for Bunny…I hope she enjoyed it,” added another fan.

It turns out that planning a celeb party is not such a cake-walk after all, with Tyldesley also having to defend herself on Instagram after the ‘cake gate’ allegations.
During the short clip on Instagram, she described the situation as ‘utterly bizarre’, adding: “I hope the cake lady got the exposure she was craving.”
