Actor Keeley Hawes has shocked fans after showing off her adorable dog, which she shares with her famous husband.
Hawes, 47, is a huge dog lover, having regularly spoken about her beloved four-legged friends in interviews.
“I always had a dog or two growing up so getting one was something I always wanted to do,” she told The Radio Times back in 2018.

“We mostly had standard poodles, because of the allergies – this was before cockapoos and the other trendy ’poos came along.”
She recently revealed that she’d welcomed a new addition to her family, having adopted a new pooch from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
Posting a snap of her new pet on Instagram, Hawes wrote: “Thank you @battersea for the newest member of our family. We couldn’t love her more.

“Buster is recovering.”
Battersea wrote back in the comments: “Congratulations on your new family member! Thank you for giving her a loving home. We look forward to seeing updates.”
However, many people found they weren’t looking at the newbie sat on Hawes’ lap, having become slightly distracted – understandably – by the other dog in the photo, who’s pretty hard to miss.

This adorable creature is a red poodle called Buster, who’s been part of Hawes' gang - which also includes husband Matthew Macfadyen and their three kids – for some time now.
Buster commanded so much attention from the post that Hawes was forced to add: “Edit! Just to be clear, the new addition is on my lap!”
He's obviously visibly bigger than his new little sister, even if perspective probably has a bit of a part to play in the picture.

According to Daily Paws, standard poodles can reach 18-24 inches in height.
Hawes had previously spoken out about wanting more dogs in her home, having spoken about her pets during an interview with the Financial Times.
When she was asked what she’d most like to have that she didn’t ‘currently possessed’, she said: "I’ve got a red poodle called Buster and I would happily bring more of those into my life. He is so bright and funny and clever, and a great companion."
In her interview with The Radio Times, Hawes also added that her first dog was a coton de tulear called Nana, having previously owned the likes of 'hamsters, fish, rabbits and chickens'.
