Kelly Osbourne issues warning after boyfriend is hospitalised with horrific burn injuries

Osbourne's boyfriend, Sid Wilson, says he was 'singed everywhere'

Kelly Osbourne has warned people to be more careful after her boyfriend was 'singed everywhere' following an explosion.

The daughter of Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne urged her fans to not make the same mistake as her partner, after sharing videos from a hospital room.

Her boyfriend, Slipknot's Sid Wilson, had suffered major burn injuries from a fire accident on their farm.

Kelly, 39. shared a series of clips on her Instagram, where their son Sidney, one, could be seen playing with toys on the floor.

The couple announced the birth of their first child in January 2023.

She said: "This is why you don’t f*** with burn piles.

"He literally set himself on fire and exploded everything."

Later, she added another video, thanking fans for their well wishes.

"I just want to take a second to say thank you to everyone who's been sending well wishes to Sid," she added.

"He's doing so much better.

"In fact, we are on the way to go pick him up from the hospital right now."

Sid, 47, has since been discharged from hospital and has returned to their family home.

He made his own videos documenting the horrific experience.

In one clip, he explained: "Hey everybody, I had an explosion to my face."

The DJ could be seen in a hospital bed, hooked up to monitor, and with a nasal cannula to provide supplemental oxygen.

He said: "I'm gonna be OK.

"I did have some serious burns to my face and my arms.

"I'm singed everywhere.

"My eyebrows are singed. My mouth is blistered.

"My arm is pretty bad. Both my arms."

A medical worker asked if he was allergic to anything while undergoing treatment, and he jokingly responded: "I'm allergic to fire, apparently."

Following hours of being in hospital, staff there decided to move him to another medical facility which is better equipped to handle such severe burns.

He then went live on Instagram to his 647k followers, explaining the situation further.

He said: "A bonfire was burnt from last night already, but there was some leftovers and I got a little 'whoosh,' fire.

"Trooper, I'm a trooper.

"Not exactly, but I'm hanging in there pretty good.

"I'm gonna be OK."

He later shared a picture of his face injuries, writing 'on my way home'.

Fans in the comments shared their well wishes for a speedy recovery.
