Following her 2013 divorce from husband Lamar Odom, Khloé Kardashian began attending therapy as a means of tackling her grief.
Just a handful of months later, however, the much-loved reality star suddenly stopped going, having been dealt a heartbreaking blow behind the scenes - something she's only lifted the lid on very recently.
Khloé and Lamar tied the knot in October 2009 - just a month after first coming face-to-face at a party for Odom's teammate Metta World Peace.

The duo fronted the hit reality series Khloé and Lamar - a spin-off of the family's already successful Keeping Up With The Kardashians - and went on to become one of the strongest celebrity couples of the late noughties.
Sadly, however, after four years of marriage - with the latter months plagued with rumours of alleged infidelity and substance abuse on sportsman Odom's part - the couple called it quits.
And after TMZ released a documentary titled Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians, which touched on the time he was found unconscious in a brothel following a drug overdose, Khloé has recently revealed she began seeking therapy to cope with the breakdown of her marriage.

Tragically, however, the 40-year-old - who has since gone on to welcome two children with on-off partner Tristan Thompson - told Bustle earlier this week that after just a few sessions she was forced to stop attending.
"I was going to therapy and the next thing I knew, something private I told my therapist was on a tabloid," Khloe recalled, going on to reveal how she made the blindsiding revelation, which she described as 'jarring'.
"I knew that my therapist disclosed this information to a tabloid because there’s no way this could have gotten out there," she explained.
"I stopped going to therapy and started going to the gym. I needed a release, but I did not trust anybody else anymore.

"The place that I felt the safest was the gym."
Khloé went on to describe her experience as 'sort of unbelievable', adding: "But there’s not a chance in the world that it came from anywhere else."
Thankfully, however, the mother-of-two revealed on the most recent episode of The Kardashians that - upon the insistence of her older sister Kim and best friend Malika Haqq - she has jumped back into the therapy pool.

Discussing her new consultant, Khloé happily explained: "She’s really lovely and I really like her. Kim was really adamant. I was like, 'I’ll do this for you.'"
Admitting she initially 'dragged' her feet, she said she was surprised by the relief that her new sessions have provided.
"I was like, ‘Wow, OK, this is good. I needed this.'", she told the publication. "And my therapist was like, 'I think you should come three days a week.'

"She was like, 'You really need to be here'. It all worked out."
Glad to hear, Khlo.
