It's safe to say that long-standing sex symbol Lenny Kravitz has shocked everyone after admitting to being celibate.
The 60-year-old rock star has enjoyed a music career for decades - achieving critical acclaim with hits such as 'American Woman' and 'It Ain’t Over ’Til It’s Over'.
He's also written for other stars such as Madonna and taken acting roles in films including The Hunger Games and Precious.

His marriage to actress Lisa Bonet has gone down in the 'couple goals' hall of fame, and resulted in the birth of acclaimed actor Zoë Kravitz.
More recently, he went viral for working out in leather pants - and posting photos that attracted the praise of Channing Tatum.
In a new interview with the Guardian, Lenny opened up about his life, legacy and (lack of) lovemaking.

Lenny references finding out his father was having an affair which 'devastated' him.
He explained that his father told him he'd also end up being a player, and he 'became right'.
As for how he battled this, Lenny shared: "I had to tackle that and it took years.
"By taking responsibility. Discipline. Not letting my own desires take over.”

Speaking of controlling his desires, Lenny then shared he hasn't been in a relationship for nine years.
It's then revealed that Lenny is celibate. But why?
“It’s a spiritual thing", Lenny explains. He also shares that he'd love to be in a relationship, but doesn't know how realistic that is.

He says: “I have become very set in my ways, in the way I live.”
So, there we have it. Lenny ain't getting any.
He is obviously a very disciplined man. Alongside controlling his desires and celibacy, he is an avid fitness fan.

He explains: "Last night, I worked all day, interviews, rehearsing into the night, get home at 11.00pm. I need to eat something. Now it’s 1.00am. I didn’t get my workout.
"So I went to the gym and I did a 90-minute workout at 2.00am. I don’t want to be in the gym at 2.00am, but I know that I must."
He continues: "It's part of my discipline - it’s about body, mind and spirit. I want all of those three elements aligned. If my body’s in shape and my spirit and mind are not, then it’s just something nice to look at or to boast about. Who cares?
"For me, all of it has to be aligned. And I have to do the work it takes to have all of those in alignment so my being can be at its maximum.”
So it turns out that's the secret to looking amazing at 60.
