Demi Lovato’s sister Madison De La Garza is honouring her late daughter.
The 23-year-old had an emergency C-section in September last year, but her baby daughter passed away following complications.

In a statement shared to Instagram in October, De La Garza told her followers about the heartbreaking loss.
"On the evening of September 27th, after an emergency c-section, Ryan and I held our little girl for the first and last time.
"Thank you, Xiomara, for making us parents to the most perfect angel in heaven. Mommy and Daddy love you sweet girl.”
Lovato shared a message of support in a comment on her sister’s post which said: “I love you so much Xiomara. An angel in every sense of the word. I’ll be your auntie forever.”

The ‘Skyscraper’ singer also shared an Instagram Story with the caption: “RIP to my beautiful, perfect niece Xiomara. I’m so grateful I got to hold you. I’lI forever be your auntie."
She tagged her sister, adding: "I love you so much."
The former Desperate Housewives star, was inundated with supportive messages shared by her followers after sharing the heartbreaking news.

"May your daughter forever rest in paradise,” one Instagram user wrote at the time. “There are no words."
A second shared: "Having experienced this personally, please accept my condolences. It doesn’t mean much from a stranger and being one comment in literal thousands, but having been there, I understand."
A third echoed: "I'm so beyond sorry, this is so heartbreaking."

Lovato and De La Garza's older sister, Dallas Lovato, also posted a poem honouring her niece. "“Baby girl Xiomara, I miss you everyday / I’ll take good care of your mom, so you can fly away.
“Watch over us and guide us and give us little signs / One day we’ll come and see you, it just might take some time / Not a single day will pass without you in our hearts / I wish we got more time together before you had to depart.”
This month, De La Garza revealed a tribute in honour of her daughter—a handwritten “XO” tattoo on her palm. A tiny heart was also drawn between the X and O. “For my baby girl,” she captioned the Instagram Stories post.
