Mel Gibson has revealed the shocking thing he learned while driving through Los Angeles with a firefighter and news reporter, were the devastating wildfires rage on.
The LA fires have claimed the lives of least 25 people as over 180,000 people have been forced to evacuate their homes, which have sadly been destroyed as a result of the flames.
With a number of celebrities also losing their homes, such as Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal, Adam Brody and more, the fires have taken a lot more than expected.

However, Braveheart actor Mel Gibson was left stunned after driving with a firefighter who revealed a startling discovery during an attempt to put out the flames.
In the car with the firefighter and NewsNation's Brian Entin, the man said that there was no water in the fire hydrants to allow them to dampen the blaze, explaining: "None of us were aware of the water issues with the reservoirs and stuff, right."
When Gibson - who recently shared a wild conspiracy theory that the fires were started on purpose - asked if they knew the 'the reservoir was empty’, the firefighter shared that there was some water, but it ran out 'fairly quickly' which was 'surprising'.

The firefighter explained: "It's not uncommon for us to lose water in our firefight. It's just that early in the game was surprising."
He then shared that his team had 'a lot of resources' as the fires spread.
Gibson, whose $14.5 million Malibu mansion burned down while he was filming a podcast with Joe Rogan in Texas, took the firefighter and Entin to view the remains of the structure.
Gibson explained: "Obviously, it’s kind of devastating. It’s emotional. I was doing the Rogan podcast… And [I was] kind of ill at ease while we were talking, because I knew my neighbourhood was on fire, so I thought, I wonder if my place is still there.
"But when I got home, sure enough, it wasn’t there. I went home and I said to myself, well, at least I haven’t got any of those pesky plumbing problems anymore.

"I had a lot of personal things there that, you know, I can’t get back."
He went on to say: "I can make all kinds of horrible theories up in my head, conspiracy theories and everything else, but it just seemed a little convenient that there was no water.
"And that the wind conditions were right and that there are people ready and willing and able to start fires.
"I know they were missing with the water, letting reserves go for one reason or another. They've been doing that a while. California has a lot of problems that sort of baffle the mind as far as why they do things."

The actor told Ingraham: "And then in events like this, you sort of look, well, it is on purpose? Which, it's an insane thing to think.
"But one begins to ponder whether or not there is a purpose in mind. What could it be? You know, what do they want? The state empty? I don't know.
"One thinks that the resources and the capabilities of the men and women will be on standby, that they'll be able to cope with any situation that comes up, but apparently some people were asleep on the job, mainly our leaders there.

"But, you know, that's something they have to live with — but that's something that the community has to live with, and it's really sad."
