The internet was sent into a frenzy earlier this year when comedy star Melissa McCarthy issued a pretty iconic response when asked about Ozempic.
It wasn't a bold journalist or confident fan who brought on the line of questioning, however - it was fellow movie star Barbara Streisand.
If you're confused about this bizarre interaction already, get yourself strapped in - it's about to get a whole lot weirder...

In recent years, Bridesmaids favourite Melissa McCarthy has proudly shown-off her newly-trimmed physique when making red carpet appearances.
An example of such an occasion came in April, when the 54-year-old rocked up to CTG's The Gala 2024 in Los Angeles, donning a breath-taking mint green tulle gown, matching blazer and go-go boots.
In the hours that followed, McCarthy shared a photo from the high-profile soiree - which saw her arm-in-arm with film director pal Adam Shankman - on social media, where she was met with a flood of compliments from fans.

Amongst the multitude of comments, however, was a controversial one left by legendary actress and singer Barbara Streisand about her visible weight loss.
"Give him my regards did you take Ozempic?" 82-year-old Streisand bravely asked in a comment, which fans spotted before it was quickly deleted.
For those out of the loop with the recent and ongoing Ozempic controversy, an increasing amount of huge-name stars have admitted to using the self-administered injection as a means of shedding a few pounds.

Despite its intended purpose being to treat those suffering with Type II diabetes, the appetite-suppressing aspect of the drug has sparked mass misuse, particularly amongst A-listers.
You can only imagine fans' shock, therefore, when Streisand appeared to call out McCarthy about her potential Ozempic use - despite having no proof.
After facing backlash from fans, Funny Girl front-woman Streisand released an apology on social media, claiming she was trying to pay McCarthy 'a compliment'.
"OMG - I went on Instagram to see the photos we'd posted of the beautiful flowers I'd received for my birthday," she wrote.

"Below them was a photo of my friend Melissa McCarthy, who I sang with on my encore album. She looked fantastic!
"I just wanted to pay her a compliment. I forgot the world is reading!"
And while one might have thought that Mike & Molly star McCarthy would have been insulted by the accusation, her extremely forgiving response will go down in history.

In an Instagram clip subsequently shared at the premiere of her then-new movie Unfrosted - captioned '@barbrastreisand fan club members only!!!' - the star could be seen reading a magazine centred around Streisand.
The camera then panned out, with Melissa exclaiming: "The takeaway. Barbra Streisand knows I exist!"
She continued, revealing the star 'reached out to me and she said I look good'.
"I win the day," she added.
We love a calm and collected queen.
