Miley Cyrus' mum, Tish Cyrus, has recently opened up about the reason for her divorce with Billy Ray Cyrus.
The 57-year-old married the ‘Achey Breaky Heart’ singer in 1994, and the couple went on to have Miley, Noah and Braison together, and also share Brandi, and son Trace, who Tish had in a prior relationship. Cyrus also shares son Christopher Cody with Kristen Luckey.
However, they parted ways in 2022, and following their split, Cyrus began dating Johanna Rose Hodges, aka, Firerose who is 34, and tied the knot in 2023 before finalising their divorce seven months later.

Fans were pretty shocked by their pairing after it was revealed that Cyrus met Firerose on the set of Hannah Montanna, the show where his daughter, Miley, found fame as a child.
Tish has also since moved on from her former marriage, marrying Dominic Purcell last year.
And according to Tish, her marriage to Cyrus had reached a point where she could no longer cope.

Speaking on Kate and Oliver Hudson's podcast, Sibling Reverly, she said: "I never wanted to be divorced, [But] for us, you’re in the public eye, and the world that we exist in is already so odd and sometimes unstable."
She added: "I wanted to make it work, probably for a little too long, which took a toll on my mental health. Eventually, I reached a point where I felt I had no choice but to move on."
However, she never knew that it would be so 'tough on everyone'.
It has been reported that Miley was currently experiencing a rocky relationship with her father, but it was only one month after announcing his split from Firerose, that he made a rare comment about his daughter.

Posting on Instagram, he shared a framed throwback snap of him and Miley at CMA Fest - formerly known as Fan Fair.
Billy Ray explained that the scraps of paper contained a poem he'd written after experiencing the festival, saying: "One of my best memories ever: @cma Fest, back when it was Fan Fair.
"That's @mileycyrus and me, surrounded by thousands of incredible fans at the fairgrounds.

"The next day, someone handed me this picture, and I wrote that poem right then on the bus. I’m incredibly proud of her. She's a survivor and a true artist.
"She learned early on to love and appreciate the fans who make everything possible.
"We both cherish the connection we have with our fans and are grateful for every single one of you! Hope you all have a great Friday! Now rock the country!!!"
Miley herself also addressed the 'rift' rumours, saying she'd learned both good and bad things from her father.
