Millie Bobby Brown is refusing to let trolls get her down in 2025.
Taking to Instagram this week, the Stranger Things star released an understandably brutal response to comments left by her haters, after one of her most recent uploads caused quite the stir.

Being a young, rising star in the eye of the public hasn't always been easy for 20-year-old Brown.
Despite being considered one of the modern entertainment industry's most successful former child stars - following her success in sci-fi hit Stranger Things and the Enola Holmes film series - she is often criticised for ageing.
After getting engaged to boyfriend Jake Bonjiovi - son of rock star Jon Bon Jovi - in 2023, she was subjected to mass trolling, with haters telling the then 19-year-old she was too young to get married.
Thankfully, Brown hit back at the time, telling Glamour: "It’s not because I can’t do it in 10 years; of course I can do it in 10 years. But why, when I know that it’s going to work now?"

She added: "I know that Jake and I will be okay.
"When I met Jake, I just felt I could be loud. He embraced that and encouraged that. And I fell in love with myself while being with him."
Since then, although she's followed through on her decision to marry the young musician, 22, she's still ceaselessly subjected to online hate - many of whom regularly accuse her of attempting to grow up too fast.

Such is the case this week.
On New Years Eve (31 December), the much-loved actress shared a mirror selfie to her personal account, in which she could be seen donning a sweet burgundy and white paisley dress, which she paired with a classic noughties Louis Vuitton handbag.
The star - who could be seen pouting proudly in the mirror - also bore her colossal engagement ring on her finger, alongside her wedding band.
As we say, however, despite her chic get-up and keen eye for fashion, the actress' latest post seems to have rubbed a handful of social media users up the wrong way, with many trolling her over her appearance.

Making specific reference to her age, one jibed in the comments: "Millie’s google history : 'How to look 65 when you are 16'".
Another hit out: "U look 35 what happened??"
"She looks like a 40 year old Jersey housewife," a third wrote.
And whilst you might expect most celebrities to turn a blind eye when it comes to receiving hateful remarks online, Brown is having none of it.

Taking to Instagram once again in the days that followed, she posted a savage message on her Story, reading: "women grow!! not sorry about it :)".
Her response thankfully echoes what many of her most loyal fans penned in the comments of her recent upload, defending her from trolls.
"Mills is just more mature than all of you, no wonder y’all saying she looks older," one wrote.
Another went on to beg: "Omg guys can yall just let a girl breathe"
"Y’all. She’s not a kid anymore," a third explained. "You’re still expecting her to look like baby Eleven. She’s not"
