Miriam Margolyes worked with Leonardo DiCaprio on Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of Romeo + Juliet, but she later revealed that she found him 'a bit smelly'.
You might remember the 1996 quasi-modern take on Shakespeare's romantic tragedy starring DiCaprio and Claire Danes in the leading roles, with Margolyes playing Juliet's nurse.
While some of the swords had been replaced with guns, the movie still hit all the main story points of two young people from feuding families falling in love before concocting incredibly stupid plans to run away together and taking their own lives because they hadn't the patience to wait but a few seconds longer.

As the adaptation of one of Shakespeare's most famous plays was being made, the cast got to spend a bit of time together and Margolyes enjoyed getting to know DiCaprio apart from one thing about him.
Last year, she appeared on This Morning to promote the release of her book, This Much Is True, and the conversation turned towards her time with DiCaprio.
She said that they went shopping together while working on Romeo + Juliet and explained that she had a great relationship with the then 21-year-old, who at the time was a young star on the rise.

However, Margolyes then said she found DiCaprio to be 'a bit smelly'.
She said: "Because it was very hot in Mexico and I think young boys, he was very young at the time, they don't make themselves fragrant, they don't wash all the bits."
Margolyes continued by saying that she told the show's researcher 'he's got to wash every bit' in the chat they'd had before she appeared on This Morning before returning to the topic of DiCaprio's hygiene standards.
She continued: "Fat people, and I'm fat, have to be particularly careful about between the legs and in the groin, under the arms and under the breasts. You have to be careful. He was young and slim but I don't think he washed for weeks and after a while you notice it."

"He's fragrant now, he's lovely, he's a very nice man. A generous sweetheart, and we loved shopping together. But I kept saying to him 'you know, have a wash'."
Well that's Leonardo DiCaprio told, and it's not the first time Margolyes has had people in stitches by saying whatever comes to mind.
In another appearance on This Morning, she told a woman to 'lose weight' and then 'join Grindr' after being asked to offer up some dating advice.

She also admitted that she didn't really know much about dating apps and suggested that the woman try volunteering so she could get out and meet people.
Margolyes has a pretty long list of antics on This Morning, including letting off an enormous fart live on air.
The 82-year-old actor recently opened up about regretting not being 'more disciplined' as she discussed health issues which she says have left her unable to walk and expects that she'll be in a wheelchair soon.
Tyla has contacted DiCaprio's reps for comment.
