Molly-Mae makes sad confession about baby Bambi as she breaks silence on Tommy split for first time

Molly-Mae makes sad confession about baby Bambi as she breaks silence on Tommy split for first time

The Maebe boss announced that she and boxer Tommy had ended their relationship in August 2024 - five years after meeting on Love Island

As well as acclimatising to single life since her shock split from Tommy Fury, Molly-Mae Hague has spent the last six months making life as normal as she can for their one-year-old daughter Bambi.

Sadly, however, the social media star has this week made a heartbreaking confession about Bambi, as the toddler adjusts to their new family dynamic.

For those out of the loop, Molly-Mae and Tommy blindsided fans last summer by suddenly calling time on their relationship after five years together.

The reality TV couple had met on Love Island in 2019, before moving into a plush Cheshire home together, getting engaged, and welcoming a beautiful baby girl, born in January 2023.

Breaking the news in August 2024 with an emotional Instagram statement, mum-of-one Molly-Mae penned: "Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way."

Elsewhere, she admitted: "I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority."

Since their break-up, Molly-Mae has been filming a tell-all Prime Video documentary titled Behind It All, which promises her fans an insight into the reason behind their decision, and a look at how she's been handling life as a single mum.

And speaking to Tyla and other news outlets yesterday (15 January) ahead of the Friday release of the bombshell doc, the blonde beauty was asked how Bambi had been handling long days of filming, where she made a tragic confession.

"I don’t think she’s even noticed it to be honest," she initially replied, before adding: "I think she’s just buzzing that there’s more people in the house. She’s like, ‘New people!’."

Tommy moved out of the family's £3.5 million mansion following the August break-up, and has since set up shop in what reports are describing as a '£15,000-a-month bachelor pad'.

Discussing the change, Molly-Mae added of Bambi: "She’s constantly playing with the [camera] guys.

"She’s been having so much fun – and to be honest, it’s been lovely because we’ve spent so much quality time together, and it’s been documented. It’s like having a little video diary for me and her."

Elsewhere in her discussion with press, the Maebe boss was asked about a photo of she and Tommy sharing a post-split snog, which was taken at a New Year's Eve celebration before going viral.

Fans were initially unsure whether it really was the former couple in the picture - being that neither of them addressed it afterwards - but now, Molly-Mae has confirmed that she and Tommy did ring in the New Year together.

Asked whether the lip-locking moment with Tommy was the first of many, the initially hesitant star began by admitting: "Yeah, I think it’s just – we are navigating a really complicated time in both of our lives in the public eye. And I think, this is a whole new territory for me.

"Tommy and mine’s relationship has been in the public eye always, but to deal with this break-up with millions of eyes watching, it’s hard and it is complicated."

After seemingly confirming that the pair did enjoy a smooch when the clock struck midnight on December 31, she explained: "The reason why I don’t comment on it or speak about it on my YouTube is because, simply, we’re both navigating it ourselves.

"We’re both figuring it out as adults and as parents. We’re doing the best we can.

"But I really do feel like the documentary is going to answer a lot of questions, and we’re going to touch on that situation – you’ll see a snippet.

"The last thing I want is any confusion."

The mother-of-one also addressed the theory that their entire break-up had been a farce - created as a means of promoting her fashion line and new documentary, and Tommy's return to boxing - confessing she 'wished' the break-up was fake.

"I do talk about [those rumours] in the opening scene [of Behind It All]," she began.

"I think that, for me, above everything, has been the most frustrating part because – I literally say in the documentary – I wish it was a publicity stunt, because it would be a lot easier. Going through all this, the turmoil of a break-up, has been hard.

"And I think, to have those comments – and I do see those comments, people saying this has obviously just been done launch my brand, or a publicity stunt – that is very painful to me because it’s real life."

Molly-Mae continued: "Tommy and I have a baby together, and it’s very, very real. It’s a really hard thing that we’ve gone through these last six months.

"But yeah, I wish it was a publicity stunt, but it isn’t."

She added: "I think this documentary will clear up any question of that – you see a real side to it. It’s a bit like you’re a fly on the wall, and like I say, I think people will be surprised by how honest we’ve been."

Molly-Mae: Behind It All episodes 1-3 launch exclusively on Prime Video on 17 January. The latter three episodes will drop in Spring 2025.
