An army of Molly-Mae Hague fans have swarmed to the recently-single Love Island star's defence, after she was subjected to a wave of brutal online trolling about her relationship timeline.
The unwarranted criticism came just hours after the social media influencer, 25, announced her split from fiancé Tommy Fury after five years together yesterday (14 August).

"Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this," Molly-Mae began her emotional statement.
"After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.
"I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end."
The mother-of-one - who welcomed her first child Bambi with her former boxing beau in January last year - continued: "I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter.

"Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority. I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years.
"You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it's right to share this with you all."
She added: "Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I'll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x."

While many fans of the former couple - who first met on the hit ITV2 dating show back in 2019 - have issued their condolences ever since news broke, others have taken it upon themselves to criticise the pair for not marrying before welcoming their child.
In the months after their series of Love Island came to an end, Molly-Mae and Tommy went on to shack up together in Manchester before welcoming their daughter.
They also shared their engagement in July last year, after Tommy, also 25, popped the question while on a holiday in Ibiza.
As such, one troll wrote in the comments of her most recent Instagram upload: "This is why u should marry first."

Another added: "You're supposed to get married before you have the kid."
Since then, however, many Molly-Mae fans have rushed to her defence, slamming trolls for their outdated perspective on parenting.
"Married people split too you know," one hit back.

Someone else penned: "Nope. you're not. You're supposed to do what you want in a relationship. What works for two of you. There's no right or wrong way to live your life."
Tommy also addressed yesterday's announcement in a follow-up statement.
Again, taking to Instagram, he wrote: "I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship.
"The past 5 years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi & I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.
"Please respect our privacy, and our families privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time."
