Molly-Mae’s final post with Tommy Fury has fans in tears after the pair announce shock split

The world was rocked yesterday (14 August) when Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced they had decided to part after five years together.

Molly-Mae, 25, left fans stunned as she took to Instagram to share a statement confirming that she and her Love Island fiancé, Tommy, had parted ways after being together for five years.

Shortly after, the professional boxer, also 25, released his own statement on the matter, prompting the couple's millions of followers to rush to the comments of their posts sharing their thoughts on the bombshell announcement.

And it's clear there's one post in particular which is sending fans into a spiral - Molly-Mae's final post with her ex-fiancé.

The post, a short clip from the former couple's proposal video, was uploaded to Instagram last month (23 July) and shows Molly-Mae holding little Bambi on a cliffside while Tommy got down on one knee and popped the question.

She captioned the clip: "One year ago today I was tricked into going on a fake brand trip on which the love of my life would ask me to marry him!"

Molly-Mae's fans have since rushed in following the news which seemingly broke the internet yesterday to share their reactions.

One Instagram user penned: "Looking at this after they’ve just broke up."

"I actually cried," confessed a second, while a third agreed: "So sad honestly."

A fourth chimed in: "Here after what’s happened devastating."

"Who came after their breakup?" asked a fifth, while a sixth admitted: "This hurts now."

Another echoed: "I’m heartbroken for strangers."

And a final Instagram user defended: "Everyone needs to be a bit more sensitive in these comments.

"She’s obviously not having a fantastic time at the moment so let’s stop commenting about a relationship that we truly don’t really know anything about other than what has been shared on social media."

The anniversary video was posted just a matter of weeks after Molly-Mae shared her break-up statement to her eight million followers on Instagram.

It read: "Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.

"I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end.

"I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.

"I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years.

"You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it's right to share this with you all.

"Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I'll be back when it feels right.

"Molly-Mae x."
