Following the shock news that Love Island couple Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have called time on their relationship after five years together, many fans have been commenting the same thing on their latest posts.

It was Molly-Mae who first broke the news, releasing an Instagram statement on her Story today (14 August).

"After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.

"I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end.

"I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.

"I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years.

"You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it's right to share this with you all.

"Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I'll be back when it feels right.

"Molly-Mae x."

Meanwhile, Tommy also spoke out about the pair's shock split today in his own statement, writing on Instagram: "I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship.

"The past 5 years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi & I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.

"Please respect our privacy, and our families privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time."

Since then, hundreds of fans have taken to the comment section of the ex-couple's engagement post, issuing the same remark.

The duo - who share 19-month-old daughter Bambi together - announced their plans to wed back in July 2023, when boxer Tommy popped the all important question on holiday in Ibiza.

Taking to the comments of the black and white video the ITV2 couple shared to break their sweet news, one fan wrote on Instagram: "No I don’t believe it"

Another begged: "Your story .. are you pranking us ?"

"And it’s over just like that," another noted.

A fourth continued: "Damn it felt like just a couple months ago"

"I CANT BELIEVE YALL BROKE UP," another continued.

Last week, Molly-Mae admitted in a vlog she had been solo parenting.

She said: "I have been solo parenting pretty much the entire week.

"Actually I've been solo parenting for like, two weeks now, basically because Tommy's just been so busy.

"When he's home from doing work and stuff, he's so incredible and so helpful. I can't say any different, like, he's such an incredible dad, but I have been this week, like, just really… mum life has been mum lifeing."
