The NFL is said to be introducing a new rule to protect Travis Kelce since his ultra-public relationship with Taylor Swift began.
The duo, who have been together for over a year now, have made waves in the sport community after Swift was seen at numerous games to support her beau.
The couple have been seen at public events, packing on the PDA and appearing to be in a world of their own.

However, with this newfound fame and attention, came some setbacks.

Kelce has faced a lot of scrutiny for his girlfriend’s attendance at his games, and haters just aren’t happy that the couple are enjoying their lives together.
So, the NFL has introduced a new rule aimed at enhancing player privacy, according to reports. While it’s not confirmed that they’re doing it specifically for the Kansas City Chiefs star, he will surely benefit from it.

As media coverage surrounding him has intensified since his new relationship came to light, NFL’s proposed rule is supposed to ‘protect’ players from the media’s access inside the locker rooms.
According to Radar, it also bans them them from conducting post-game interviews there.
The National Football League Player's Association (NFLPA) have previously spoken about attempts to get such a rule implemented, writing in a statement on Twitter last year that it was about 'respecting player's privacy and dignity'.
Even though it has been claimed the decision aims to protect the privacy of all players, many believe the move had Kelce in mind.

According to a source who told Radar: “Everyone knows it is to protect Taylor Swift’s boyfriend. No one believes it’s just a coincidence that the new rules are being implemented now.”
So, anyone who is playing for the Philadelphia Eagles or the Chiefs, there will be a lot more privacy for them where the media is concerned.
Tyla has contacted NFLPA for comment.

You’ve got the giant number of guests, the star power in the half-time performance, the famous snack advertisements and the thousands of families at home with their home cooked Super Bowl feast.
But what if your favourite tight end wasn’t playing?
After his game with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at the AFC Championship Game, and his subsequent taunting of a competitor, NFL fans have called for him to be punished.

While there has been no confirmation that a punishment will go ahead, it’s a shame that the sporting community has been divided this way - particularly at this game, as Swift was there and it appeared to be a resounding success for the Chiefs.
Xavier Worthy, a close friend of Travis, was there, and it was a magical day for him too.
Well, that’s because he was mesmerised when he found out one thing about about the singer during her attendance at their game against the Bills on 26 January.
