Nicole Kidman has opened up about working with Tom Cruise while they were married.
The 57-year-old Hollywood A-lister revealed what it was like filming alongside the Mission Impossible star, 62, during the cult-classic thriller, Eyes Wide Shut.
Nicole also discussed whether the film's director, Stanley Kubrick, decided to take advantage of their relationship in real-life or not.
Now, the pair first met on the set of the hit film Days of Thunder and decided to tie the knot only a year later in a private ceremony on Christmas Eve in 1990.

Then, just a couple years later in 1992, they adopted a daughter named Isabella Jane and some years after that, in 1995, they adopted a son named Connor.
However, they sadly parted ways in 2001.
Before that though, in 1999, Nicole and Tom starred in Eyes Wide Shut together as Alice Harford and Bill Harford respectively.
Now, in the film, Alice admits to having sexual fantasies about a man she met and her husband, Bill, soon becomes obsessed with having a sexual encounter of his own.

On a bizarre journey, Bill discovers an underground sex group and attends one of their meetings and soon discovers that he is in way over his head.
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, the Moulin Rouge star revealed that Kubrick was 'mining' her and Tom's coupling while directing the flick.
"I suppose he was mining it," she said. "There were ideas he was interested in. He’d ask a lot of questions. But he had a strong sense of the story he was telling."

"I do remember him saying, 'Triangles are hard. You have to tread carefully when it’s a triangle'," Nicole continued. "Because one person could feel ganged up on. But he was aware of that and knew how to manage us."
The Practical Magic star also admitted that being a woman meant she had a slightly 'different relationship' to the director.
She recalled to the outlet: "There’s something about being a woman in that equation, too.

"And Stanley liked women. He had a different relationship with Tom. They worked more closely together on his character."
Opening up about what parts of herself she brought to the role of Alice, Nicole responded: "My boldness. I’m quite up-front and Alice becomes quite up-front, particularly when she was stoned ... although that wasn’t me when I was stoned. I was just naturally like that. Up-front."
