Nicholas Perry, who goes by the name of 'Nikocado Avocado' online since his first YouTube video in 2014, shocked millions of viewers when unveiling a jaw-dropping weight loss earlier this month - but many theorised it was all fake.
Nikocado is a YouTube sensation, having gone from uploading vegan recipes, health 'hacks', music covers and general vlogs to worrying videos eating high quantities of unhealthy foods.
The U-turn came after he criticised the plant-based community for being 'unbalanced, hostile, and mentally unstable', and instead embraced 'Mukbangs', an online eating trend which sees people consuming huge quantities of food, often for the satisfaction of viewers.

Nikocado went on to gain an excessive amount of weight which led to a lot of health issues.
He told Men's Health in 2019 that he suffered from erectile dysfunction as a result of his weight gain, as well as a general loss of libido.
The internet star then informed Business Insider in 2021 that he'd fractured a rib due to 'excessive forceful coughing' caused by his lifestyle choices, as well as needing a mobility scooter as a result of being classified as disabled.

So, it came as a total shock when Nikocado uploaded a video this month titled 'Two Steps Ahead' that revealed his 250 pound weight loss, and revealed all of his content over the last two years had been pre-recorded, as he secretly embarked upon a weight loss journey.
When people theorised it was all a lie and the new video was actually pre-recorded, he uploaded a video doing the 'Apple' TikTok trend, which became popular this year after Charli XCX's Brat album was released.
However, some people suggested it was AI and Nikocado hadn't really lost any weight - until others stepped in with 'proof'.
One person wrote on X: "Nikocado has lost weight. There's a video here of Nikocado being skinny whilst there's an advert in the background for a UFC fight on Sep 14th."

Another said: "I’m putting it to rest. skinny nikocado is real. PEEP that UFC billboard behind him."
Indeed, there was a UFC fight in Las Vegas on 14 September.
But now, Nicokado has once again returned to social media to claim his weight loss was all a lie.
What?!

In a TikTok video, he said: "Who in their right mind does a social experiment gaining 250 pounds for five years in a row?
"Y'all are so stupid. Think outside the box. Don't believe everything you're told, including from me."
He also said we all have the IQ's of 'a bag of rocks'.
We don't know what to believe, but we're offended.
