Every parent has their own little way of raising their tots and celebs are clearly no different.
The likes of Hollywood power couple Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have a 'non-verbal agreement' on how they parent their kids, and they opened up recently about exactly how they juggle domestic duties alongside their life in the spotlight.
Eva, 50, and Ryan, 43, have two daughters; Esmeralda Amada, who was born in 2014, and Amada Lee. who they welcomed to the world just two years later in 2016.
Eva opened up about how she and the Barbie star had come to a mutual understanding that she would put her acting career on pause in order to stay at home with her children.

"It was almost just like a non-verbal agreement that it was like, 'Ok, he’s going to work and I’m going to work, I’m just going to work here'," Eva explained on the Today show.
The Other Guys actor continued: "I’m so lucky," speaking about being able to have that time with her children.
She did assure fans, however, that she very much so still does have a career but it is just no longer in showbiz since becoming a mum.

"I still worked, I just didn’t act because acting takes you on locations, it takes you away," she added.
Eva revealed she 'pretty much stopped acting' after she and Ryan starred in The Place Beyond the Pines back in 2012.
Reflecting on the film, she said: "I have never experienced anything like that. The way he works, his commitment to his craft, how he wants to make everything as best as it can be, and that means making his co-stars as best as they can be.
"But unfortunately — or fortunately — there is only one Ryan!"

There sure is and that was made abundantly clear at this year's Oscars ceremony.
After wrapping up his iconic 'I'm Just Ken' performance, Gosling kissed a Barbie-themed 'E' charm necklace, which stands for Eva.
While fans all over gushed over the incredible performance, it's clear there is no greater fan of his than his wife who also posted an adorable tribute to her hubby on Instagram.

"You took Ken all the way to the Oscars, RG," she wrote, adding: "Now come home, we need to put the kids to bed."
Her post was accompanied by a snap of her wearing her husband’s pink studded blazer and sunglasses, along with one of the black cowboy hats the other Kens donned on stage.
Talk about a match made in heaven.
