Benny Blanco shared his explicitly brutal relationship advice in his first ever interview with fiancé Selena Gomez.
Fans were so happy for the star towards the end of last year, as she announced her engagement to the producer on Instagram after a year-and-a-half of dating.
Benny, 36, revealed that the pair had actually been close friends for several years before taking their relationship to the next level, but only 'went public' with their love in June 2023.

"Forever begins now..." Selena wrote in the caption, after which Benny wrote in the comments: "Hey wait… that’s my wife."

The snaps included a sweet picture of the happy couple hugging, and Selena's undeniable smile told fans everything they needed to know.
But for the first time ever, the two have come together with Interview magazine to spill all the beans on their relationship.

In the exclusive, the pair were asked to share some relationship advice - and it's safe to say their approaches to answering the question were very different.
Selena gushed about her love, as she said: "I’ve kind of been alone in the world. I was alone for five years before we got together, and I think that really helped me appreciate someone like Ben.
"He gets so weirded out by me saying this, but genuinely, 10 years ago, I wasn’t in a space in my life where I could have accepted the kind of patience, the kind of unconditional love that he gives me."
But Benny's advice was slightly more...direct.

He said: "Happy wife, happy life. Shut the f**k up and listen to your partner."
It's definitely not a bad idea.

The star added: "I think in general, men are not listening to their partner enough. And treat people the way you want to be treated.

"Find your best friend and don’t settle. That’s my best friend right there."
Talking about their future children, the producer said: "We want our kids to have both of our values, both of our morals, and hopefully when we mix them up in a pot they’ll..."
"Turn out good," Selena added, completing his sentence.
And while most couples have a least a few pet peeves about the other, it seems as though Selena and Benny are an anomaly.

When asked about things that wind the other up, Selena responded: "I don’t really have any. Honestly, I don’t do good with compliments and he will give them to me and I’ll get very uncomfortable. Or if we try to compliment each other, I’m always like, 'What are we doing'."
Benny agreed, adding: "I don’t have any pet peeves."
