For most festival goers, nothing beats the humble makeup wipe, as its speed and simplicity often has some looking past what it lacks in effectiveness.
However, for superstar Shania Twain - who is headlining Glastonbury this weekend - a makeup wipe just does not cut it.
The 58-year-old is taking to the stage this Sunday to perform her hit songs – which will leave some wondering, how does she look that good?

Luckily enough, she has shared one beauty secret that leaves her feeling ‘like a woman’.
Don’t worry, there’s no need to pack a 10-step beauty regime, because for Shania it’s as simple as two household products.
In a tutorial for Harper's Bazaar, the 'You’re Still the One' singer revealed that there’s one home remedy for stubborn makeup that she's used for a while, which doubles as both a cleanser and a face scrub.

What will you need to replicate Shania’s glow? Head to your cupboards and fetch some sugar and olive oil.
She revealed: “I just mix that in the palm of my hand, I don’t use make-up remover, per se. I really just combine the olive oil and the sugar.
“I don’t rub it in hard, I’m just softly doing this.”

This sworn-by hack has been a staple in the icon’s routine for years, with her revealing the secret to The Cut in 2017.
Shania explained: "This is going to sound weird, but because I’m travelling so much, I take sugar and a bit of olive oil or any face cream that I’ve got handy.
“And I mix it with a little bit of warm water, and I gently scrub my face.
“I came up with it myself. It’s very hard to find an exfoliator that I really like - I tried so many. I have tried very fine sand before as well, but it’s a little bit too abrasive.

“Sugar works well because it softens with a little bit of warm water and it’s not sharp on the skin."
The homemade remedy was met with a mixed response online, with some planning to admire Shania’s complexion from a far, sticking to their own products.
From fears of looking too greasy, to worries about sugar’s abrasiveness on the skin, many were quick to give the concoction a miss.

One viewer showed her distaste for the makeshift remover, sharing an anecdote of the time she used olive oil on her face and ‘had cystic acne for a week’.
While another said: "I love Shania. Shania is my girl... But why are you putting sugar on your face?"
The country singer will be rocking the Pyramid Stage this Sunday, filling the coveted Legends slot.
