In the world of star-studded baby announcements - where elaborate, obscure and downright bizarre names are given to celebrity children on an almost daily basis - Sofia Richie is separating herself from the trend.
It's been three days since she and husband Elliot Grainge announced the delightful news that they'd welcomed their first child together, and already the model and socialite has had praise heaped onto her by fans for her choice of name.

Sofia, 25, shared the delightful news of their baby's arrival on Instagram on Friday (19 May), revealing that she and Elliot had welcomed a daughter.
Describing the birth as the 'best day' of her life, Sofia - who married her billionaire husband in a lavish South of France ceremony last summer - immediately shared their latest addition's adorable name with fans.
Posting a black-and-white photo of her daughter's tiny feet, she wrote: "Eloise Samantha Grainge.
"5•20•24 best day of my life."

And as well as the millions of congratulatory messages, the couple have also received heaps of praise for their baby name choice - with many happy that they'd chosen a 'normal name'.
"Thank you for naming your beautiful baby girl a normal name!" one wrote.
While another tweeted: "shoutout to sofia richie for giving her baby a normal name"

"Sofia Richie bringing back normal baby names for celebs/influencers. The days of Apple and Bouillon and Ocean are over," a third gushed.
"Sofia richie named her child something normal! god is good" a fourth continued to say.
A fifth went on: "Sofia richie gave her daughter a normal name the world is healing."
It's only been five months since the big-name couple announced their pregnancy in January, with Sofia - who'd previously dated Kardashians star Scott Disick - initially thinking she was jet-lagged before realising she was experiencing pregnancy symptoms.

When three tests revealed she was pregnant, she said that she and Elliot both burst into tears.
In an interview with Vogue, she revealed at the time: "I found out very, very early, I was about four weeks pregnant.
"I was on a trip to Milan for Fashion Week, and I was going to the Prada show. I was doing a really quick 24-hour turnaround, and I felt terrible but didn’t think much of it. I thought it was jet lag.”

She continued: "When we turned over all three tests at the same time they were all positive.
"He was so excited, and we both cried. It was crazy and overwhelming and so hard not to scream it from the rooftops."
