Timothée Chalamet has been handed a proverbial slap on the wrist for his bike-escapade at the London premiere of his latest film.
Of course, there’s only so many people who can pull off such an entrance, and I think we can all agree that if anyone can rock up on an eco-friendly bike like it’s no big deal, it’s Chalamet.
Aside from the numerous questions being thrown his way due to his PDA with Kylie Jenner, all eyes are now on his premiere faux pas.

The actor was seen arriving at the London premiere of A Complete Unknown on January 14 in a snazzy suit on none other than a Lime bike.
It’s no shock that the clip of him rocking up on the electric bike went viral, as fans went wild for his unusual mode of transport, particularly because it’s on a literal red carpet.
However, it appears that it got him into a spot of trouble, and a punishment was then doled out to him.

For those of you who don’t know what a lime bike is, they’re essentially a bit like our Borris Bikes (AKA Santander Cycles) in London.
While we have normal bikes that you can rent for a short time and dock at a number of locations before tapping your card on the contactless reader and going about your day, Lime bikes are electric which are rented from the Lime transportation company.
But it’s not the fact that he turned up on a bike that got Chalamet into trouble - it was how he parked it.

Speaking on Quotidien, a talk show in France while doing his press tour for the Bob Dylan biopic flick, he revealed that he initially was going to take a car to the premiere, but decided to go for the bike instead as there was too much traffic.
But in doing so, he shared that he was fined £65 not parking the bike properly.
He said: “It was horrible, because it was actually kind of an advert for them [Lime].”
At least it was a good way to promote the eco-friendly bike, but it wasn’t the best way to show how to park it.

Anyway, if you haven’t seen the trailer for Chalamet’s new film, you’re in for a treat - he plays the music legend, Dylan, as a 19-year-old prior to fame in 1961 New York.
From there, he goes on to rub shoulders with famous singers and composers, slowly gaining traction in the music industry for his crooning melodies before making it large.

In real life, Dylan was part of the famous Studio 54 club, which saw the likes of Dylan, Andy Warhol, Edie Sedgwick and other stars frequent the disco scene.
Now, the 83-year-old enjoys a quiet life after living it large through the 60s, 70s and 80s as an icon.
A Complete Unknown comes to cinemas 17 January.
