After footage went viral of Anna Kendrick addressing Blake Lively's ongoing legal battle against Justin Baldoni this weekend, fans of the actress have wondered what she really thinks of her A Simple Favour co-star.
Kendrick and Lively starred as joint leads of the comedy-thriller back in 2018, and reunited on Friday (7 March) to promote its long-awaited sequel.
During an appearance on the red carpet for the SXSW premiere of Another Simple Favour, 39-year-old Kendrick was asked her view on the complaint that Lively, 37, filed against her It Ends With Us castmate Justin Baldoni in December.
For those in need of a reminder, Lively accused Baldoni, 41, of exhibiting overly sexualised behaviour towards her while on the set of the Coleen Hoover novel adaptation, as well as orchestrating a 'smear campaign' against her.
Anna Kendrick's viral reaction

Whilst on the red carpet of the SXSW film festival in Austin, Texas - where she and Lively jointly promoted Another Simple Favour - one Variety reporter had the courage to ask Kendrick about her co-star's current legal predicament.
"How do you feel that the movie is being impacted by everything going on… in the world?" they asked the movie star, to which she gave a pretty iconic response. With faux naivety, she began by smiling: "Why? What happened?"
Kendrick then teased: "I did Ayahuasca and the last year of my life has just gone, but I’ve heard the movie is amazing!"
(Just an FYI, Ayahuasca is a South American psychoactive brew with powerful hallucinogenic properties, considered a Class A drug in the US.)
The remark seemingly went down a treat with many of the actress' fans, some of whom took to social media to discuss the moment.
One described her response as an 'Oscar-winning evasion' of the question, whilst another joked: "Anna Kendrick mastering the art of saying a lot without saying anything at all." Another gushed: "This is why Anna stays ICONIC."
What else did she say about Blake?
Another moment from the red carpet saw a different reporter asking the Twilight star: "Anna, what does it mean to be working with Blake again?"
Quickly walking by, she brushed off the question with a savage three-word response - as per TODAY.
"Oh, you know," Kendrick smiled, with many since taking it to mean that there are tensions between the two female leads.
When asked the same question of working with Kendrick, however, Lively was filmed beaming: "It's the best! I'm so happy to be here!"
Awkward or what?
