Travis Kelce has received some backlash for internet users for his recent comments about Donald Trump attending the Super Bowl.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is preparing for the game of his life against the Philadelphia Eagles as the Super Bowl is getting ready to be hosted at Caesar’s Super Dome this weekend.
There will be a host of famous faces attending the game - with one of those being the President of the United States.

Trump's reported attendance will be the first time a sitting president has attended the game, The Independent reports, with The Guardian further stating that he will also be sitting down for a pre-recorded interview for Fox's pre-game show.
Kelce was recently asked what he thought of Trump's attendance at the game, to which he said it was a 'great honour'.
He continued: "I think, you know, no matter who the president is, I know I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life, you know, and having the president there, you know, it’s the best country in the world. So, that’d be pretty cool."

However, his comments have left social media users a bit miffed, as many were quick to comment about Trump's previous comments about Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift - who will also be attending the Super Bowl.
During the 2024 presidental elections, Swift publicly announced her endorsement of Democratic nominee, Kamala Harris, writing on her Instagram: "I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election.
"I'm voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos."
However, this caused some 'Bad Blood' between her and Trump, who took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to declare: "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"

With this in mind, one person wrote on Twitter: “Oh Taylor it’s not looking good for you….”
Another said: “He literally talked s**t about his girlfriend and he’s honored?????”
Including a screenshot of Trump's post, someone else commented: "how is it “an honor” when this was him literally a few months ago."

However, a fourth was quick to defend Kelce, writing: “Before y’all start hating on him… notice he says ‘no matter who the president is..’ that doesn’t mean he supports trump, it’s just that he’s excited that the president (whoever it is) is gonna watch his game.”
And a fifth said they liked Kelce's 'neutral attitude' towards Trump's attendance.
Tyla has contacted Kelce's reps for comment.
