Travis Kelce’s former girlfriend Maya Benberry has warned Taylor Swift to remain 'smart’ while exploring a relationship with the NFL star.
The 33-year-old singer sent social media into a spiral when she attended a Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, 24 September.
Kelce, a tight end for the Chiefs, told Pat McAfee just days before the game that the ‘ball was in her court’ after he’d attended one of her Eras Tour dates in July.

After Swift was pictured with the American footballer’s mum, Donna, his ex-girlfriend reportedly issued a warning to the ‘Blank Space’ singer.
Speaking to Daily Mail, Benberry, 31, said: “Taylor seems like such a fun girl with a beautiful spirit so I wish her the best of luck but I wouldn’t be a girls' girl if I didn’t advise her to be smart!
"I’m sure by now she has mastered the ability to see who is really there for her - and who is just using her.”

Slamming rumours that she was after her ‘15 minutes of fame’, the TV personality she continued: "I have no reason to be bitter. I just find it ironic that he can comment on our relationship in interviews and podcasts but once I do, I’m wrong and bitter and need to let the relationship go.
"It’s even more disgusting to witness this and even more sickening to see that I’m being painted in such a negative light for speaking on a relationship and project (the reality show) that I was a part of.”
Banberry and Kelce met on the latter’s reality TV dating show, Catching Kelce.

The 2016 offering saw multiple women from across the United States competing to become the girlfriend of the NFL star.
However, it’s claimed that the pair only dated for a few months after the show concluded before they called time on their relationship.
Following the news that Swift was in attendance at Kelce’s NFL game, Page Six reported that Benberry had liked an un-liked comment regarding Swift’s appearance.
The comment read: “On everything you are and Travis gotta hold the L he out side [sic] in public with a FRAIL GAIL Taylor Swift who beside her fame is 5.”

However, she has since denied intentionally liking the comment in an exclusive with UNILAD.
Benberry said: “I stated on my Instagram Story it was an accident. I don’t nor will I ever have any ill intent or negative feelings towards Taylor or their relationship.
"It’s Instagram, and it’s so easy to accidentally like things when scrolling through comments.

“I would never be that careless or shady to intentionally like something that is tearing down another woman and her looks."
