The saga and question on everyones mind - are Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey half brothers - continues as the pair search for missing answers.
Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey being brothers hit headlines last year, when McConaughey revealed that his mother had once told Harrelson she knew his father - with some 'ellipses' after 'knew'.
The pair are real-life best friends and on-screen partners starring in the first season of American crime drama TV series, True Detective.

"We all went, 'What was the ellipsis about? And what was the knew about?" McConaughey said in an interview.
"We went to unpack what this 'knew' meant and did some math and found out that [Woody Harrelson's] dad was on furlough at the same time that my mom and dad were in their second divorce.
"Then there's possible receipts and places out in West Texas where there might have been a gathering, or a meeting, or a 'knew' moment."

Harrelson even doubled down on his theory that McConaughey is actually his brother in real life.
In an interview last year, Harrelson claims that when McConaughey was born in 1969, McConaughey's father refused to go to the hospital with the actor's mother, telling her: "That ain't my son."
TV personality Maury Povich stated he wanted to confirm whether or not Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are half-brothers.
During a recent interview with McConaughey, E! News shared a video message from Povich, in which the former Maury host told the actor that he “would come out of retirement” to give him and Harrelson a DNA test.

“We could do primetime, 'DNA: Maury’s Back With Woody and Matthew'. I’ll even get my showtime colour back in my hair,” Povich said in the video. “Woody’s got my number. I’m ready.”
"My kids call him Uncle Woody. His kids call me Uncle Matthew. And you see pictures of us and my family thinks a lot of pictures of us and my family thinks a lot of pictures of him are me. His family thinks a lot of pictures of me are him," McConaughey confirmed.
McConaughey's father, Jim McConaughey, passed away in 1992 from a heart attack. His mother, Kay McConaughey, is still alive. Now in her 90s, she remains active and even appeared with Matthew at events.

Harrelson's father, Charles Harrelson, was a notorious hitman who died in 2007 of a heart attack while serving a life sentence in prison for murder.
His mother, Diane Lou Oswald, is still alive and largely kept a low profile, raising Woody and his two brothers in Texas after divorcing Charles when Woody was young.
