Jenna Ortega fans seriously confused as very awkward video of her behaviour at SNL goes viral

Jenna Ortega fans were left confused on social media after a clip of her getting pushed during a sketch went viral.

SNL50: The Anniversary Special took place on Sunday evening (16 February) to mark 50 years of Saturday Night Live.

Among the famous faces present, one sketch saw Will Forte, Jason Sudeikis, and Kristen Wiig singing in the audience.

But viewers were quick to notice that Jenna Ortega and Kevin Costner seemed to be caught in the middle of the skit, with the pair looking pretty uncomfortable.

They could both be seen being pushed and shoved during the performance, with many people wondering if the pair were actually part of the sketch.

One person wrote on X: "I genuinely believe it was part of it but she’s playing it as if it wasn’t so well I'm so confused rn."

While another said: "I can’t tell if it’s real or just part of the act—I’m so lost right now."

And a third added: "Help this sent me... as a short girl I totally understand her suffering."

Meanwhile a fourth commented: "Was she in on the bit? Because it looks so real that she looks confused."

Others were adamant that the pair were in on it, with many crediting the pair's brilliant acting with having caused the confusion.

"Her acting is so good I thought it was real for a hot second," one said, as a second said: "This is an act. I don't think Jenna would stand for it if it wasn’t."

"Acting so good people thought it was legit," said another.

Costner's reaction to another viral SNL moment is also being discussed online.

Viewers were quick to notice that a joke made by Ryan Reynolds didn't seem to go down too well with Costner.

At the anniversary special, Reynolds could be seen in the audience with wife Blake Lively, before hosts Amy Poehler and Tina Fey give the pair a shout-out.

He then stands while Poehler exclaims: "Oh, hi, Ryan Reynolds. Ryan Reynolds, how is it going?"

With an awkward expression, Reynolds then replies: "Great... why? What have you heard?" Lively's shocked face then shoots upwards in his direction.

It's believed Reynolds was making a 'joke' about Lively's legal battle with Justin Baldoni. And people couldn't help but notice Costner's reaction as he sat just a few rows behind Reynolds and Lively.

Costner, who could be seen chewing gum, appeared to have somewhat of a disapproving look on his face, noticeably not clapping when Reynolds stood up to deliver the joke.

Noticing the reaction, one X user penned: "The look on Kevin Costner's face tho."

"Kevin Costner in the back makes Ryan look like the fool that he is..." jabbed a second, while a third beamed: "Kevin Costner’s reaction is brilliant! What a man!"
