Love Island producers certainly did not come to play this time around, and after just two episodes of the 2024 instalment, fans of the hit dating series are begging for more.
And by the sounds of things, ITV bosses are ready and willing to give viewers the drama they're so desperately seeking, by introducing a brand new Islander to the series tonight.
If you missed the eagerly anticipated premiere on Monday night - as well as the subsequent follow-up - allow us to catch you up...
As well as the 12 fresh-faced love-hungry Islanders that were announced last week and entered the plush Mallorcan villa in a bid to bag 'the one' earlier this week, viewers were utterly blown away to learn during the debut episode that another huge-name star would join the running, in the form of TOWIE favourite Joey Essex.

The 33-year-old rocked up right before the closing credits appeared, with Love Island presenter Maya Jama welcoming him in as a bombshell.
And viewers - myself included - were left in total shock.
Taking to social media, one viewer penned: "IS THAT JOEY ESSEX?!?! #LoveIsland."
Another went on: "JOEY ESSEX?!?! ya good luck lads it's looking rough now. might aswell start packing them suitcases back up #loveisland."

Naturally, the show's thousands of fans couldn't wait to hear what other tricks, twists and teasers producers had up their sleeves.
And luckily, by the sounds of things, they've started as they mean to go on...
That's right - it has now been reported that the long-standing dating show is about to welcome its first female bombshell.

In a teaser sent by ITV earlier today, Manchester-born islander Jess Wright receives word of an exciting new kissing challenge, and is instructed to blindfold all the love-hungry boys in this year's line-up.
"Girls. It’s time for a game," Jess reads out. "Blindfold your boy. Line them up by the pool and then head to the terrace. #nopeeping."
After her female cast-mates help her get the lads set up, however, the girls are removed from the garden and transported to the villa's balcony, where they're forced to watch a beautiful new bombshell strut in and lock lips with their men.
Despite the on-screen love-shack's latest addition not yet having been revealed, by the looks on the girls' faces, she isn't messing around, as she plants a kiss on each and every one of the male islanders' faces.

And even more excitingly, it has yet been confirmed what chaos the newest bombshell is expected to cause upon her arrival.
Will she get to steal one of the boys?
Will she catch the eye of 'Mr Essex' himself?

And will she be responsible for sending one of the girls home?
Stay tuned to find out...
Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX tonight at 9pm.
