Joe Jonas has replied to a Taylor Swift fan who referenced a song widely believed to be about him, after their breakup many years ago.
Swift, 35, and Jonas, also 35, began dating many moons ago when they were in their late teens in 2008.
It's safe to say it was a moment for pop culture, but their romance was very short-lived.
From what fans believe to be true, Jonas broke up with the country singer three months later... allegedly over a 27-second phone call.

Clearly, there wasn't an awful lot to say.
But Swift appeared to deal with the breakup in the best way she knew how - to write a song seemingly dissing her former lover.
Fans believe that she actually wrote two tracks about Jonas, who is now the frontman of band DNCE.
One of the songs speculated to be about the Jonas Brothers star is 'Mr. Perfectly Fine' from Fearless, while the other is said to be 'Better Than Revenge' from Speak Now - which has a slightly more sour feel to it, given it's about someone allegedly cheating on her.

But just days ago (23 April), Jonas posted a TikTok video of himself walking about a city in a suit, which Swifties couldn't help but comment about.
One said: "So dignified in his well pressed suit."
Which happens to be a lyric from 'Mr. Perfectly Fine'.

But fans were shocked when the man himself actually replied to the comment, and wrote: "Thanks for noticing."
While many believe that Jonas understood where the comment originated from, others have suggested it actually went over his head completely.
One TikToker penned: "JOE REPLYING TO A COMMENT WITH MR PERFECTLY FINE LYRICS IS SOOOOOO BAD FOR ME."

While another responded: "He probably doesn't even know that’s from Mr perfectly fine."
But it isn't the only time that their brief fling has come up in recent times.
During her global Eras Tour last year, Swift performed a medley of the two tracks at her show in Toronto.
One fan reacting to the concert said: "So late to this but I can't believe she did better than revenge x mr perfectly fine she really said f**k Joe Jonas."

A second added: "Somebody check on Joe Jonas."
But it seems as though, despite their past, the two have gotten on better in recent years.
It's even been alleged that Swift sent Jonas gifts when he welcomed his two daughters with his now-ex-wife, Sophie Turner.
Tyla has contacted Joe Jonas' representatives for comment.
