Where there is Netflix, there’s bound to be a new Harlan Coben release, but this new series has got fans divided over the casting choice.
With eight different series under his belt with the streaming platform, Coben is working magic when it comes to book adaptations.
It was only a short while ago that viewers were raving about Michelle Keegan’s performance in Fool Me Once, and now, fans have another show to binge watch soon enough.

Well, they can watch it next year when it’s released in 2025, but until then, they have to be satisfied with Netflix dropping teasers and photos of the cast.
Even though fans were excited to see who would be taking on this mystery thriller adaptation, some were disheartened to see an oh-so-familiar face.
Missing You is set to be a story like no other, which was adapted from Coben’s novel of the same name.
Not unlike Stay Close and The Stranger, it appears to be up to its neck in twists, shocks and scandals.

But it’s Richard Armitage’s revival that a lot of people can’t get behind.
This will be his fourth time taking on a role for Coben, as he has The Stranger, Stay Close and Fool Me Once under his belt already.
Fans, however, are mixed about whether they’re happy or not about his casting, and it’s dividing opinion.

Another commented: “As long as Richard is in it im watching it.”
Someone else joked: “Ah my favorite time of the year : Richard Armitage in a Harlan Coben tv series time.”

But others have grown tired of seeing him in another Coben series.
One person said: “I thought Richard said he wasn't doing any more of these??”
A user stated: “Richard armitrage has been basically in every Netflix uk thriller series.”
“Looking forward to this.........but come on Richard Armitage AGAIN,” complained another while someone else deadpanned: “Maybe it's time to let Richard go.”

Finally, someone compared it to another famous duo: “Always Richard Armitage.
“It’s like Tim Burton with JD and HBC.”
Regardless of what people think, this show is set to be a fantastic watch.
Netflix explained its synopsis: “There’s nothing quite like the shock of stumbling on an old flame on a dating app. When it happens to Detective Kat Donovan, seeing her ex-fiancé’s face again forces her to revisit old wounds … and buried secrets.”
The thriller will be released next year and will dive into the life of Detective Kat Donovan’s fiancé, Josh, and his disappearance eleven years prior.
After that, she never heard from him again and then suddenly, when she's swiping profiles on a dating app, she sees his face.
This explodes her world, and she’s forced to ‘dive back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past’.
