The trailer for star-studded new Netflix thriller Black Doves has officially landed.
Starring British acting veterans Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw, the series is set in London at Christmas and the Pirates of the Caribbean star takes on the role of a quick-witted wife and formidable mother-of-one named Helen, who also works as a professional spy.
You can check out the trailer here:
Helen (Knightley) has spent the last decade passing on the secrets told by her politician husband (Andrew Buchan) to a mysterious organisation known as the Black Doves.

It isn't just her elusive profession that she's kept away from her family, however, but a secret lover named Jason (played by Andrew Koji).
When her secret beau is tragically assassinated, her hard-faced boss - played by Happy Valley legend Sarah Lancashire - calls in one of Helen's oldest pals, Sam (Skyfall's Whishaw) to help keep her identity protected.
Whilst setting out to find out who murdered her love and why, the pair inadvertently discover a colossal conspiracy linking London's criminal underworld to the political minds running the country.
And by the sounds of things, it's not just us that are impressed by the looks of the incoming flick - which is set to land on 5 December.

Meanwhile, a fifth continued: "Can't wait to see her smile sweetly while plotting world domination."
The six-episode thriller series is the brainchild of Joe Barton, who also wrote 2019 drama series, Giri/Haji, and 2022's The Lazarus Project.
Last year, Barton told Netflix that the series' script came to be last Christmas, with the help of 'turkey sandwiches and discarded bottles of cream liquor'.

He said: “To be now going into production with a cast and crew full of people whose work I admire so much is unbelievably exciting, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to get to see this show come to life.”
And it seems to have a fun ride for Knightley, who many will most associate her with her work in Pride and Prejudice and Atonement - which aren't exactly know for intense action scenes.
She told Tudum: “It’s been great fun to do all of the fighting. I’ve really enjoyed learning all of the different martial arts that I have been taught."
