But, if you're eager for a break from the period drama and reality TV antics then look no further than one of Netflix's newest series.

Now, the series currently has just one season boasting 10 episodes - which makes it pretty perfect for a mid-week binge-watch.
In short, the plot follows a British teen-turned-model named Harriet Manners, who goes from 'geek to chic' in an ultimate coming-of-age tale.
However, her sudden success brings with it a handful of major downsides as she starts to experiences tension with her fashion-obsessed best friend, Nat, as well as established model Poppy Hepple-Cartwright, who sees Harriet as a threat.

Directed by Declan O'Dwyer (Miss Scarlet & the Duke) and created by Jessica Ruston (Catch Me a Killer), the series stars the likes of Emily Carey (House of the Dragon), Emmanuel Imani (Cobra), and Liam Woodrum (Doctors).
It's also actually based on the best-selling YA novel of the same name by author Holly Smale, a former teen model.
The series is none other than Geek Girl and it's clear Netflix viewers are going absolutely nuts for it.

One X user gushed: "Begging everyone to watch #GeekGirl on Netflix! The protagonist is autistic, played by Emily Carey (who is autistic, she played young Alicent in House Of The Dragon S1) and I really need S2 because it’s rare we get positive autistic representation especially for girls/women."
