Ryan Murphy’s latest Monsters series has been dominating the Netflix top 10 ever since it landed on the streamer, with many viewers instantly hooked to the true crime drama.
The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story is based on the 1989 murders of José and Kitty Menendez, who were killed by their sons – the titular brothers of the show.
Lyle and Erik, who testified that they had been subjected to years of abuse at the hands of their father, are currently serving life sentences in prison, although Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón recently announced that his office would be reexamining evidence for a new hearing next month.

The series divided opinion, with many claiming that the show has major inaccuracies to 'sensationalise' their crimes, but whatever your stance, there’s no denying that it has been HUGE.

The only thing is, viewers will have to wait for the next five episodes, which will drop in November.
One said they’d finished the first part yesterday, and were ‘still shocked about the cliffhanger’, while another begged: “WE NEED THE SECOND PART OF SEASON 4 GIVE ME PART 2 ALREADY I CANT WAIT A MONTH.”
Someone else pleaded: “GIVE ME PART 2 ALREADY I CANT WAIT A MONTH.”
Sadly for them, they’ll have to be patient, as part two lands on Netflix on 7 November.
