Netflix subscribers are urging true crime fans to tune into all four episodes of a ‘wild’ documentary series based on harrowing past experiences.

For the last two years, the viral series Worst Roommate Ever has dominated conversations.

This fan-favourite watch was created in partnership with ITV America and Blumhouse Television and its two seasons shed light on various tragedies befalling the roommates of serial killers, wanted criminals and more.

Following the success of Worst Roommate Ever, a spin-off series documenting chilling abuse dealt to men and women by their former flames began premiering on Netflix late last month - and fans seemingly can’t get enough.

The four-part show is aptly titled Worst Ex Ever and you can watch the trailer below:

The anthology offering Worst Ex Ever debuted on streaming on August 28 and works to examine the ‘dark truths lurking within seemingly loving partners’.

"The new format – built around the universal feeling of wondering how much you really know about your partner – brings you more shocking tales of betrayal, violence, and deceit,” reads a Netflix synopsis.

“Composed of compelling testimonials, bodycam footage, and animated reenactments, Worst Ex Ever reveals the disturbing stories of monstrous past relationships.”

Each episode focuses on a different former couple, with the first detailing how Justine Siemens suffered from a traumatic brain injury at the hands of serial abuser Benjamin Foster.

The nail-biting true crime series continues similarly, with episode two recounting how Seemona Sumasar struggled to deal with her ex-boyfriend Jerry Ramrattan, while the third instalment chronicles how Eric Hill’s former wife Rosa put him and his family in harm’s way.

The fourth and final story of Worst Ex Ever’s first season reveals a jaw-dropping murder plot concocted by Amanda’s ex-husband Kevin Lewis.

Despite only being available to stream for a few weeks, many Netflix subscribers have already binged the project and have taken to social media to express how ‘wild’ it really is.
