Celebrity Big Brother star Bradley Riches has opened up about what it was like finding out about a family heartbreaking following his eviction.
The 22-year-old Heartstopper actor was a contestant on the ITV series for 17 days, leaving the CBB house through an eviction just ahead of the grand finale.

One Sunday, Bradley took to his story to share with fans: "I just heard the sad news of my Grandad passing while in the BB house," alongside a photo of him.
He added: "He was strong, kind and funny. I love you so much x."
During the penultimate episode, all the other remaining housemates were treated to some time with their loved ones ahead of the final.
However, for Bradley, no friend or family member was waiting for him.

Instead, he was greeted by host AJ Odudu as she asked him: "Surprised to see me?"
She continued: "As you can see, neither a friend or family member is here for you.
"That is because the public have been voting. I can now reveal that the 7th housemate to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house is you."

Speaking on his time in the infamous CBB house under the all-seeing eye, Bradley said: "I’ve had so much fun, I feel fine, I didn’t think I was gonna make it this so far, and I love everyone in there and I’m so proud of everyone, and I’m very thankful, very grateful and very happy."
He also opened up about what it was like when AJ broke the news to him, saying on Late and Live: "When AJ walked in, I was just, I knew what came, the red lights happened, I was like yeah.
"This is happening and I just felt so grateful, so happy, I had the best time and I just thought I can't be upset, I can't get upset, I'm just grateful of that experience with all those amazing people and I just had the best time."
He added: "So I was sat there obviously, waiting for a family member like my boyfriend, my sister, my mum, my dad, my best friend and I just saw the heel.

"I was like, I don't think anyone I know would wear a heel like that. I was like this is AJ and she walked in, as soon as we caught eye contact, I was like yeah this is happening. I just felt... I didn't feel upset, something came over me and I just felt so happy.
"There was just this feeling that I was thinking about everything that had happened and I was just like: 'God, I'm so lucky and grateful I got to experience that'."
